APPLICATION RESPONSE
WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We hire the same way clients book us.

We tell every client we cast working performers, not strangers we found after they call. That standard starts with the application. Here's what gets you on the roster.

·
Performance background
We hire from acting, dance, hosting, music, and improv backgrounds. If you've performed in front of real audiences — stages, sets, theme parks, runway, kids' parties, festivals — you have an edge. We're not staffing models off a temp app; we're casting working performers.
·
Reliability that's not optional
Show up early, in dress code, ready to work. Every event is rated by the captain after — performers below 4.5 stars come off the roster. The bar doesn't move. We hire people who treat call time the way other people treat job interviews.
·
Hospitality polish
Customer-service bearing, the ability to engage strangers warmly, and grace under live conditions. You can read a room, adjust to the brief, and stay on-brand even when the day goes sideways.
·
Bilingual is a real plus
Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, ASL — bilingual roster members get more bookings at higher rates. Our clients ask for it specifically and we don't have enough of it.
·
Standard wardrobe ready
Black & white look (black pants, white button-up, black shoes). Most clients use this; some provide branded uniforms. We don't expect you to buy a wardrobe — just have the basics.
HOW HIRING WORKS

Seven steps. About two weeks, end to end.

Out of every hundred applicants, fewer than five make our roster. We'd rather move slow on hiring and fast on bookings than the reverse.

  1. 01
    Application
Tell us about yourself, your background, and what kind of work you want.
  2. 02
    Reference checks
Past employers, casting directors, agents — we're checking for show-up reliability.
  3. 03
    In-person interview
Camera presence, improv response, brand-voice exercise. Zoom doesn't count.
  4. 04
    Background check
Standard background check after offer. Enhanced tier on request from clients.
  5. 05
    Training
Brand-voice training, on-camera prep, character work, and event protocol — coached, never assumed.
  6. 06
    Paid trial shift
First gig is a real booking, captain-shadowed, fully paid. We see how you actually work.
  7. 07
    On the roster
You're in. Weekly pay, above-market rates, gigs matched to your strengths and availability.
