What kinds of costumed characters does Showcraft provide?+
Princesses, superheroes, holiday characters (Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves, the Easter Bunny), familiar story characters, brand-licensed lookalikes, and seasonal favorites. All performers are trained in character work — meaning they hold character voice and movement, not just wear the costume. Showcraft is powered by Characters.io's 18-year performer roster, which is the deepest character bench in the country.
Are your characters trained for corporate and family-day events?+
Yes. Our character roster is briefed on corporate-event protocol: tone calibration for mixed adult and kid audiences, photo flow that keeps lines moving, allergen and safety awareness, and the difference between a kids' party tone and a brand-day tone. For corporate family days we deploy a captain who manages the photo line so your HR team isn't running queue control.
How long can characters perform in costume?+
Standard performance shift is 5 hours including breaks. Full-costume characters (especially heavy mascot suits or hot-weather outdoor activations) rotate every 20-30 minutes with cooling breaks managed by a backstage handler. For multi-hour activations we deploy a backstage handler and often a second performer in the same costume so the character stays on continuously.
Are costumes screen-accurate?+
Yes. Our costume inventory is built for in-person guest experiences, with screen-accurate or screen-adjacent looks for the most-requested characters. For licensed properties we work within usage guidelines (or recommend our IP licensing path for long-term brand character development).
